This site and design and philosophy is obviously heavily influenced by the Seth Godin approach of blogging or idea sharing. I am not so prolific, or as experienced, or as witty as Seth, but you get the idea.
It has also been hugely influenced by Derek Sivers and his approach to the world (from there the NOW page idea). I am not as spartan as that guy, or as rich. But what I am is very keen on keeping my own data, managing my personal sovereignty and knowing how things work and his approach to ‘building’ an audience and finding tribes.
For those of you for whom this kind of thing is important; This site uses no cookies or anything that can track you around the internet. When you leave this site, I have no idea what you are doing on Facebook or Twitter (sorry sorry X), or anywhere else. That’s your business. Similarly, if you want to know what I am up to, you can come visit this site every now and then, or you can get notified every week about a digest of posts when you join the newsletter. This is what I prefer. Ironically, after decades of spam emails and all of the stuff that happened with social media in between, I still feel email is the only private place left digitally.
